Welcome
Japanese tea ceremony is called Chanoyu, Cha-do or simply O-cha. It is is the traditional etiquette of preparing and  serving Japanese green tea, together with Japanese sweets. Preparing tea in this ceremony involves the principles of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility. The process is not about drinking tea, but the aesthetics of preparing a bowl of tea from one's heart - sharing a bowl of tea.

Take a few minutes and meet Sochi ... and explore a bit of the history of Tea Ceremony.

Sochi teaches classes in the art of tea ceremony several times throughout the week at her Yorba Linda tea house.  If you are interested in more information or in attending a demonstration, please contact us.

Covid-19 alert
Due to the current and evolving situation, tea ceremony classes are being taught on line using Zoom or other platforms.  This has worked well for existing as well as new students.  In fact, it has proved to be a wonderful outlet during this time of stress and confinement.
Please contact me if you are interested in more information.
